NCD is a leader in CEREC technology

Complicated, time-consuming dental implants and restorations?  They’re history, thanks to North Country Dental and CEREC – the in-house “dental lab” that creates extremely precise restorations without nasty impressions or time-consuming outside labs.  North Country Dental has all the latest and best esthetic techniques to turn your smile from so-so to sensational.  We make gorgeous teeth quick, easy…and affordable with our in-house dental finance plans.

In the past, dentists had few choices when it came to offering their patients long-lasting restorations.  Often, silver or gold metal restorations were the only materials available to fill this need.  But now, by using the latest technologies in dentistry and our CEREC machine, we offer you state-of-the-art, long lasting dental ceramics that look and feel like your natural teeth.

CEREC is an acronym for Chairside Economic Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics.  The CEREC machine we use in our office allow us to quickly and economically restore damaged teeth using a durable ceramic material that matches the color of the other teeth in your mouth.

Did you know…CEREC is so advanced, only 3% of dentists in the United States offer it!  Of the approximated 1,014 dentists in NH now, we are proud to be one of only 89 offices statewide and the only office within the North Country to be able to offer this service.  We are the only office in New Hampshire to have three CEREC machines for our patients’ convenience, including the newest CEREC Bluecam.

CEREC-Before-And-After

What advantage does CEREC offer me?

First and foremost, the restoration can be performed in a single session, usually in about one hour.  With CEREC, there’s no need for us to make an impression and send it to a lab.  We won’t inconvenience you by asking you to return for a second visit.

Secondly, the restoration is natural looking, because it is made of tooth-colored ceramic material.  It’s metal-free—no silver fillings to discolor your smile!  The ceramic material is compatible with tissue in your mouth and is high-grade, anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant.  It allows us to be extremely precise and save more of the healthy part of your tooth.
